How to Plan for a Great Family Photo Session…school is back in session, football games have begun and moms everywhere start thinking about booking that family photography session. Cue the groans and loud sighs from all other family members. Here at ECP we try to make the family photography session as quick and painless as possible and, dare I say, fun without sacrificing quality photography. All our mini sessions are planned considering everything from family comfort to gorgeous evening lighting.
Our favorite is the sun bokeh sparkle coming from the trees on a sunset evening. That lighting just frames families so beautifully.
Since the photo session time and location are chosen for you, let’s discuss clothing options. Based on the location and props that we are using ECP will send you 2-3 clothing inspiration boards. These boards will have examples of clothing colors that go well together and photograph well. Neutral colors always work best and adding in a pop of color can add some interest to your photos. .jpg)
ECP will be in constant contact with you leading up to your session date…answering any questions you might have. We will also take careful consideration to learn your children’s names before the session and bring fun props that will help with natural smiles. .jpg)
